KING’S KIDS
An outreach initiative of Trinity Learning Center (TLC), King’s Kids focuses on infants to 5th graders who may need special assistance during any of the 3 services on Sunday mornings. We want your special needs child to have complete access to the wonderful learning experiences available to all of TLC’s youngsters. Prayer, bible study, friendship, exciting activities and events are not limited here at TLC!
Special Buddies
With a Special Buddy assigned to your child to help him or her join in TLC programs, you, as parents, can relax and enjoy a Sunday morning of worship and fellowship, knowing your child is safe and cared for. (Special Buddies are volunteers from a core group of high school, college students, and adults given individual training to minister to the specific needs of each child.)
Family Orientation
Contact us at the phone numbers below to set up a Family Orientation so we can informally meet you and your child, discuss his or her needs, and learn how we can help him or her participate as fully as possible. We are not specialists, but we do love Jesus and His kids – yours included.
Parent’s Night Out
Four times a year King’s Kids leaders sponsor a “Parent’s Night Out” so moms and dads may take a breather. The evening includes a pizza dinner, crafts and games for the King’s Kid and his/her siblings. For dates and times please click on the family calendar button on the right.
King’s Kids Parents Support Group
One Sunday evening every other month, King’s Kids moms and dads gather at church for a time of sharing information and support. Topics pertinent to raising a child with a disability are discussed. Special speakers are often featured. Child care is provided.
Special Events
Throughout the year King’s Kids provides family activities. You won’t want to miss our annual Christmas party & Pool Party. Join us!
